CHECK THE ADD-ONS. IF WE ARE SELLING A POSTER, YOU CAN VIEW, PRE-ORDER, AND PICK UP POSTER AT OUR CONCESSION TABLE AT EVENT UNDER YOUR NAME!
PARKING LOT: Glendale Sears Parking Lot, 211 W. California Avenue Street, Glendale, CA 91203
HOW TO:
Make sure when you purchase your ticket(s), you do the following:
1)PURCHASE AN EARLY BIRD ($23) or DAY OF TICKET ($28) which includes the car fee and the first ticket for the driver.
2) GO TO ADD ONS: Purchase an additional $8 per person ticket for each person after the driver in the car.
As long as you purchased the EARLY BIRD or DAY OF ticket, you can always pay for additional people in your car at the gate.
3)PRE-ORDER ANY CONCESSIONS OR MOVIE MERCHANDISE you would like from the additional Add-Ons. You can pick up all concessions & merchandise at our table in the middle of the Parking Lot.
To attend, you need a car with an FM radio or a handheld radio you bring yourself. We will space out cars to make sure folks can safely maintain 6 feet of distance. We ask that folks stay in their cars unless they are picking up concessions or using the restroom. Whenever you are out of your car, you are required to wear a mask for everyone’s safety.
IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, PLEASE BRING A SMALL OR REGULAR SIZED CAR (sedan sized or smaller). We want to make sure EVERYONE gets a great space. SUVS, TRUCKS, CARS WITH HIGH ROOFS/RACKS/ITEMS ON ROOF often have to be parked further away from the screen to avoid sightline issues.
If you bring a larger car, arrive as near to when we open our gates as possible to get the best possible space.
We are proud to continue our partnership with ELECTRIC DUSK DRIVE IN (https://www.electricduskdrivein.com) for our Spring Into Action March 2021 series.
Tonight, we screen one of the Olympian action movies of all time: James Cameron’s TERMINATOR 2. It’s hard to put into words just how impressive TERMINATOR 2 is. Made right at the cusp of Hollywood’s transition from mostly practical effects to mostly computer-generated effects, T2 (still) serves as the template for how important it is to weave the two together into an unbearable fabric of jaw dropping brilliance.
T2 picks up roughly 12 years after the events T1. The future rebellion leader, John Connor, is a juvenile delinquent living with a foster family while his mother, Sarah Connor (the mind-glowingly badass Linda Hamilton) has now been confined to an asylum because no one believes her warnings of an imminent “robot apocalypse”.
Drop in two new Terminators-Arnold Schwarzenegger, this time tasked to actually protect Connor-and a new T1000, developed by the machines of the future, who can change shape/form, to finally kill John, Sarah, and prevent any uprising whatsoever.
Cameron starts the movie at 10 and notches it up to 11 by minute 10. We get mind blowing action sequence after action sequence while Cameron somehow miraculously also develops a surprisingly affecting story of families broken apart and brought back together.
By the time we get to the classic climax where all our leads must face off against each other, we are left breathless. This is what an action movie is supposed to be. Come join us and experience it at the drive in!
Best always,
