To attend, you need a car with an FM radio. We will space out cars to make sure folks can always maintain 6 feet of distance. We ask that folks stay in their cars unless they need to use the portable restroom. Whenever you are out of your car, you are required to wear a mask.
We will have hand sanitizer, masks, and gloves for sale for folks who need them. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU BRING ALL THESE THINGS ON YOUR OWN.
Our partnership with Electric Dusk Drive In https://www.electricduskdrivein.com/) continues as we wrap up our MUSICAL MADNESS series with two all-time rock movie musicals. The Who’s TOMMY and Pink Floyd’s THE WALL.
TOMMY, directed by wild man director Ken Russell, is a hallucinatory roller coaster ride filled with an all-star cast singing the classic WHO album about a blind and deaf boy who becomes a genius at pinball and later a savior. And while almost everyone adds something special and unique to their musical number, Tina Turner nearly steals the entire show with her now classic “Acid Queen” sequence where she gives about 250%. The Who’s guitarist and songwriter, Pete Townsend, really pioneered the rock musical with Tommy. And no one has completely caught up to him since.
Our second feature of the night is Pink Floyd’s classic THE WALL directed by Alan Parker with animated sequences directed by Gerald Scarfe. While you might think it impossible to get more visually intense and hallucinatory than Ken Russell, Parker and Scarfe do just that with their cinematic translation of Floyd’s classic album about alienation and disaffection. Animated and live action images take on fascism, conformity, numbness in the onslaught of late 20th century war, consumerism, and bad education.
If you’re looking for a rocking, mind blowing Thursday night. You may have just found it.
Best always,

We will also be doing LIVE IN PERSON INTRODUCTIONS as we did for our theatrical screenings.
WILL THERE BE SINGLE FEATURES AND/OR FAMILY FEATURES? Yes! We will occasionally be screening single features of longer length and single family features.
